Wonderful private, accessible tour of Peru and the Galapagos I am a travel agent and used Rebecca Adventures for my clients for a private tour of Peru and the Galapagos. They wanted specifically to focus on trekking and I couldn't find any options that encompassed everything they wanted all in one place. Other private tour companies were not based in Latin America and were way over budget. I am so glad I came across this company. They have a 24 hour support chat with someone in the area (not a call center) and they replied within a few minutes each time with various questions from my clients. They seamlessly accommodated one of the travelers who had accessibility and dietary needs without issue. I will definitely be using them again.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

An amazing 20 days in a once in lifetime family South American adventure We were looking for an agency to help us plan and organise our family's South American adventure and stumbled upon Rebecca Adventure Travel online. When we emailed their online contact information service, Andres responded within 24 hours. He proceed to put together a comprehensive travel itinerary covering Peru and Ecuador over 20 days. The tour was extremely enjoyable for our family of 2 adults and 3 primary aged children, and we managed to cover many key tourist destinations. In Peru we visited Cusco, Macchu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, took the train from Cusco to Puno and Lima. In Ecuador we visited Quito, Mindo Valley, Lake Cotacahi, Hacienda Pinsaqui, Condor Park, the Otavalo Market and finished off our adventure with a 5 day cruise in the Galapogos. Our travel arrangements were all well made with helpful and informative guides meeting us on arrival at every destination, clean hotels and transportation. Meals were excellent wherever we stopped from lunch / dinner. All of the tickets for entry to the various destinations were pre arranged and timed to make our travel as efficient as possible with minimal waiting time. There were some exciting activities along the way including horse riding in the Sacred Valley and Hacienda Pinsaqui, dancing to Inca music on the train to Puno and zipline park in the Mindo Valley. We would highly recommend the MV Galapagos Legend as an ideal cruise ship for families visiting the Galapagos. Value for money was fair for what we required. We cross checked their prices against 2 other service providers and found Rebecca Adventure Travel to be competitive and relatively good value for money compared to some "luxury" international travel companies offering similar services from London / Singapore. We would highly recommend Rebecca Travel as a service provider in Ecuador and Peru.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Exploring the ancient Inca town of Ollantaytambo is a living testament to a lost civilization. Then, stepping onto the legendary Inca Trail, not with a throng of tourists, but with a select few travelers.
We’ll whisk you from Ollantaytambo to the trailhead, where our incredible team of porters and cooks will greet you, ready to handle everything beyond your daypack. Savor a delicious lunch as they prepare your mobile home for the days ahead – including tents, gourmet meals, and even a private toilet!
As the day ends, settle into our comfortable campsite (2,902m / 9,521ft), surrounded by the majestic beauty of the mountains. Relax, knowing everything is taken care of, and dream of the wonders that await.

Fuel up with a delicious breakfast and prepare for a captivating climb through the enchanting Cusichaca Valley. Our path leads us gently upwards towards the charming hamlet of Huayllabamba, the last touch of civilization before we delve deeper into the wilderness.
Prepare to be mesmerized as the trail steepens, guiding us along a picturesque Inca pathway that snakes through a vibrant cloud forest. Keep your eyes peeled for the dazzling dance of hummingbirds flitting amongst the lush foliage – a truly magical sight!
We’ll ascend to the breathtaking grassy expanse of Llulluchapampa (3,680 meters / 12,073 feet), our campsite for the night. Here, panoramic views of the surrounding peaks will steal your breath away. And if we’re lucky, we might even spot the graceful Andean deer grazing peacefully in this serene sanctuary.

Today presents the Inca Trail’s greatest challenge, but the rewards are equally magnificent. Our ascent begins towards the legendary Dead Woman’s Pass (4,212m / 13,819ft), the trail’s highest point. Feel the exhilaration of reaching the summit before our descent into the Pacaymayu Valley.
The journey continues upwards as we pass the ancient Inca control post of Runkuracay, leading us to the second pass of the day (3,998m / 13,117ft). On a clear day, prepare to be spellbound by the spectacular panorama of the Pumahuanca mountain range in the distance.
We then follow a beautifully preserved section of the Inca Trail to the enigmatic site of Sayacmarca. Perched at the intersection of ancient Inca roads, its true purpose remains a fascinating historical puzzle.
A few more gentle undulations bring us to our breathtaking campsite for the night: Phuyupatamarca, the ‘place above the clouds’ (3,650m / 11,975ft). Settle in and marvel at the ethereal beauty of the Andean landscape from this incredible vantage point.

Witness a breathtaking Andean dawn! Depending on the weather, sunrise over snow-capped peaks or mystical cloud inversions awaits. After a fond farewell to our porters, we descend through the cloud forest via ancient Inca stairways to Wiñay Wayna.
The climax arrives at Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, where the majestic Machu Picchu unveils itself in a breathtaking panorama.
Capture the iconic views and soak in the wonder. Afterwards, a bus whisks us down to Machu Picchu Pueblo for a well-deserved hotel stay and refreshing shower, the perfect end to your unforgettable Inca Trail journey.

Today, immerse yourself in the wonders of Machu Picchu, the pinnacle of Inca ingenuity. Rediscovered in 1911 and now a UNESCO World Heritage site and New Seven Wonders, this extraordinary citadel will surpass all expectations. A short bus ride takes you to this awe-inspiring site, perched high above the Urubamba River.
Explore the “Lost City of the Incas” with a comprehensive guided tour. We aim for an 8 am entrance, allowing for a relaxed morning before our exploration. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic train journey through the Sacred Valley, a perfect opportunity to reflect on your incredible adventure. A bus transfer from the station will return you to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
