    One of Our Best Family Trips Ever! We had the best family trip to Colombia with Rebecca Adventure Travel! DAY 2: Bogotá Ciclovía bike tour

DAY 3: San Luis Reserve
Your day begins when we pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the Bogotá airport for your next flight. Upon arrival at Yopal Airport, a transfer takes you to the San Luis Nature Reserves. We’ll start our wildlife safari on the way to your lodging, keeping an eye out for the diverse species that inhabit the region.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the savannah and forest edges on foot or by jeep. This exploration will introduce you to the Llanos’ (plains) diverse wildlife and ecosystems and provide grounding experiences. Your search will span from small critters to large felines, offering a profound connection with nature.

DAY 4: 4x4 jeep safari

In the late afternoon, you continue your photo safari in a different area of the reserve to enjoy the atmospheric golden hour, leading to one of the mesmerizing prairie sunsets. The day concludes with a nocturnal drive back to the lodge to uncover nighttime species such as maikongs, anteaters, and night hawks.

DAY 6: Guatapé and El Peñol rock

Upon arriving at Santa Cruz, a brief drive will take you from Puerto Ayora pier to your hotel.

Just outside of Puerto Villamil, Isabela’s wetlands house a variety of unique bird species across lagoons, swamps, and mangroves. To enter Ecuador and Colombia, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your intended departure from the country.

To fully enjoy your cruise, we advise booking flights that arrive early in the Galapagos Islands and depart late. Arriving late or leaving early could result in missing out on some activities.

Since you will ride on steep mountain trails where oxygen is limited, it is our safety recommendation that the rider weigh 220 lbs (100 kg) or less.
