The city of Otavalo is also home to one of the largest indigenous populations in Ecuador. In this enchanting town, you will have an intimate experience focused on colorful hand-made textiles, family artisan workshops, and total cultural immersion as you taste and savor the Andean gastronomy this unique area is known for.

    08:00 Pick up at your hotel in Quito and begin driving to Otavalo.

    10:00 Stop for hot coffee or hot chocolate and a tasting of local ¨biscochos¨ at San Pablo Lake overlooking Imbabura Volcano.

    11:00 Visit the Peguche waterfalls. (Optional Pamba Mesa lunch with additional cost)

    12:30 Visit Otavalo’s indigenous market and local lunch (included). Explore EcuaFina‘s luxury handmade products.

    14:30 Demonstration of Peguche Wasi and the artisanal textile.

    16:00 Drive back to Quito
