Itinerary

DAY 1 Quito Welcome and Transfer IN
Your Micro Wedding across Ecuador Mainland tour starts here. You will be picked up at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) and brought to your hotel, which is located at the city center. At the hotel you will have some time to relax and enjoy the view of Quito. After going back to the hotel, you can rest, to be ready for the activities planned for the following day.

DAY 2 Quito City Tour & Rehearsal Dinner
After breakfast, you will have a city tour with the highlights of Quito. You can explore different churches, visit unique museums and discover the most beautiful spots in Quito. Later on, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel. During the rehearsal dinner you will have some time to define the last details with our wedding planners and providers. Get some rest and be ready for your wedding on the next day.

DAY 3 Wedding Day
Today is your BIG DAY! After breakfast you will start getting ready. The makeup and hair stylist will be waiting for you while the other suppliers will be defining last details and the decoration. The judge will arrive at the hotel to start with the symbolic ceremony. After the ceremony you will enjoy a delicious meal while you enjoy beautiful live music.

DAY 4 Papallacta Full Day
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will depart to have a wonderful and relaxed day at Papallacta hot springs. The open-air thermal pools have various medicinal benefits. Due to their minerals, these waters will help you to gently exfoliate your skin and relax your body. At Papallacta, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with a mountain viewing. Later on you will be delighted with a relaxing couple massage. After a calm day at hot springs you will go back to your hotel in Quito. At the hotel you will rest to be ready for the next day.

DAY 5 Quito - Yasuni National Park
Depart Quito’s Airport at 11:00 AM (subject to change). A 30 minute flight over the Andes Mountains leads you to a bustling oil town called Coca, located in the Amazon Basin. You will have a quick lunch, and then it’s off to the town docks where you will board private canoes for a 2 hour journey down the river to Sacha Lodge. A 30 minute hike through the rainforest leads you to lake Pilchicocha. Here, you are met by native workers who will paddle you across the lake to your final destination. You will arrive at Sacha Lodge around 15:30 or 16:00 PM. After arriving, you can swim in Lake Pilchicocha. After dinner you will have a night walk to finish your activities for the day.

DAY 6 Amazon Lodge activity
Early in the morning you will start your first activity which will begin between 06:00 and 07:00 AM. The early morning hours are the best for birdwatching in the Amazon. After the first activity, you will have a buffet breakfast in La Balsa. After this, you will have some time to relax in the lake, pool or to visit the butterfly house. You will have lunch at La Balsa around 1:00 PM. The afternoon activity that you can choose will start at 4:00 PM. After this activity, you will have dinner in the restaurant where you can choose your dish a la carte. Finally, there will be a night activity to experience the animals that live in the wild.

DAY 7 Amazon Lodge activity
Early in the morning you will start your second day of activities in Sacha Lodge which will begin between 06:00 and 07:00 AM. After the first activity, you will have a buffet breakfast in La Balsa. After this, you will have some time to relax in the lake, pool or to visit the butterfly house. You will have lunch at La Balsa around 1:00 PM. The afternoon activity that you can choose will start at 4:00 PM. After this activity, you will have dinner in the restaurant where you can choose your dish a la carte. Finally, there will be a night activity to experience the animals that live in the wild.

DAY 8 Amazon Departure Day
This is the last day of your Amazon Yasuni Adventure. You will have an early breakfast and depart from the lodge at 7:30 AM for an easy walk to watch monkeys one last time before your final departure. You will arrive in Coca and be escorted to the Coca Airport. Scheduled arrival at Quito’s Airport is at 12:30 PM. Later on you will take your flight back home.

Guides: All our guides have a professional background from the Tourism University; this means they have a degree in guiding, so their knowledge and skills when leading a group are top-notch. Each guide has many years of experience and they all have taken additional courses for other outdoor activities as well as have International First-Aid certifications. On top of all of this, they are all extremely personable and strive to deliver the travel experiences of a lifetime.
Please take with you some plastic bags, to protect your Camera and important documents passports and ID from the rain.
Please bring your own rain poncho, or buy it here in Ecuador, and take it with you for the activities, the weather could change suddenly in the rainforest and you might get very wet.
Health advice: You must have the vaccination for yellow fever and malaria medication to enter this region.
It is important to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
