DAY 1 Arrival in Quito
Today your Hacienda Wedding Tour in Ecuador tour starts. Once you arrive at Quito Airport, you will have a private transfer to your hotel. You will have some time to rest and relax a little bit.

DAY 2 Otavalo Visit - Rehearsal Dinner
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel in Quito and start driving to the Hacienda, the landscapes on the road already make your day since you will drive through the real Andes you will have the most beautiful views. Otavalo is also called the ‘indigenous capital of Ecuador’. You will visit Otavalo’s market and San Pablo Lake.
Once you arrive at the Hacienda you will enjoy a delicious lunch with some top-quality organic ingredients.
Then you will have some time to rest and to get ready for the rehearsal dinner at the Hacienda. You will also have some time to talk to the wedding planners to see all the final details for your big day.

DAY 3 Hacienda Wedding Day
Today is the big day! After breakfast, you will start getting ready. The makeup and hair stylist will be waiting for you while the other suppliers will be defining the last details and the decoration. The judge will arrive at the hacienda to start with the symbolic ceremony surrounded by mountains. After the ceremony, you will enjoy a delicious meal while you enjoy beautiful live music with all your special guests. You will have awesome pictures as a souvenir of this amazing wedding day in the Andes.

DAY 4 Transfer to the Amazon - Walk into the forest
Early in the morning, your Amazon Adventure starts. After a 4 hours ride, you will arrive at the lodge. Lunch will be ready, and, in the afternoon you will wear your rubber boots and go hiking with your native guide to Kuyana’s Island and Gitarracocha trail. He will share traditional knowledge of local medicinal plants such as dragon blood, ginger, guayusa, etc. At night you will have a walk and a campfire at the river.

DAY 5 Lodge Activiy Day
This day is open for you to enjoy one or more of the lodge’s optional tours. Nature lovers may want to start before breakfast with a daybreak birdwatching tour. Along the trip, you will learn about medicinal plants, taste edible fruits and insects, and discover how to weave traditional palm-fiber bags. You will enjoy a guided walk to the Ushpayacu waterfalls to enjoy a refreshing experience. Al night you will enjoy organic chocolate making and cultural night.

DAY 6 Plant a Tree Project - Transfer to Papallacta - Quito
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will visit and participate in our Plant a Tree project, then you will depart to have a wonderful and relaxed day at Papallacta hot springs. Open-air thermal pools have various medicinal benefits. Due to their minerals, these waters will help you to exfoliate your skin and relax your body gently. At Papallacta, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with a beautiful mountain view before being transferred to the airport to take your international flight back home.

Additional information
Guides: All our guides have a professional background from the Tourism University; this means they have a degree in guiding, so their knowledge and skills when leading a group are top-notch. Each guide has many years of experience and they all have taken additional courses for other outdoor activities, and also have International First-Aid certifications. On top of all of this, they are all extremely personable and strive to deliver the travel experiences of a lifetime.
Please take with you some plastic bags, to protect from the rain your Camera and important documents passports and ID.
Please bring your own rain poncho, or buy it here in Ecuador, and take it with you for the activities, the weather could change suddenly in the rainforest and you might get very wet.
Health recommendations: You must have the vaccination for yellow fever and malaria medication to enter this region.
It is important to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
