This half-day tour takes you from Quito airport to the beautiful Papallacta hot springs for a relaxing experience. This is the perfect option for travelers who arrive in Quito and have time (6 hours or more) before their international connection. Papallacta is a small Ecuadorian highlands village located in the Andes mountain range (east side) about 1.5 hours away from Quito. It is known for its famous thermal baths, whose source temperature varies between 86 °F and 158 °F (30 °C and 70 °C). After this relaxing time, head back to Quito airport for your next flight and destination.

PAPALLACTA HOT SPRINGS
A driver will pick you up from Quito Airport and take you on a one-hour drive to Papallacta, where you can admire the majestic Ecuadorian Andes. At Papallacta Hot Springs, you can enjoy the hot spring pools for a relaxing treatment with volcanic spring water. After a relaxing day, the driver will transfer you back to Quito International Airport.

- Keep in mind that the weather at 13,000 ft (4,000 m) can change suddenly from sunny to cold with stormy winds and wet snow.
- Since you will ride on steep mountain trails where oxygen is limited, it is our safety recommendation that the rider weighs 220 lbs (100 kg) or less.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
- It is mandatory to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
