    Beautiful, Safe, Ecuador! Get your cameras ready!!
Rebecca Adventure Travel worked with us to customize a 15 day, self-driven tour from the top of the country to the bottom of the country within the Ecuadorian Andes mountains. It’s was a fast paced trip but so worth being able to see the center of the country as well as some of own adventures. We planned the trip well in advance and selected each destination with purpose. Rebecca Adventure Travel did the rest. Fine hotels, excellent guides, car rental, attractions, some meals, and they provided FULL TIME guidance throughout the trip. We are well pleased with the team, communication was excellent and the hotels were beyond our expectations. We will use Rebecca Adventure Travel again and highly recommend their services.     A trip to remember!
We booked the 23-Day Complete Ecuador & Galapagos tour through Juan in the Rebecca office. From the start there was clear communication and a helpful attitude, nothing was a problem. This continued throughout the whole trip. The guides were awesome and Carlos and the Operations team were always on call to help us if we needed it. This was a fantastic tour which covered all the main attractions including a week in the Galapagos islands which was amazing. I highly recommend Rebecca Adventure Travel!

    Zorgeloos reizen in Ecuador!
Met Rebbeca’s Adventure traveling een individuele reis geboekt. 26 dagen Ecuador en de Galapagos eilanden en o.a. Quito, Mindo, Amazone, heetwaterbronnen, Cuenca, Baños en nog veel meer. Wat een fantastische reis hadden we. Eerst met ons gezin en halverwege sloten onze vrienden vanuit Aruba aan. Alles was perfect geregeld. Eigen busje met vaste gids en chauffeur. Bij iedere volgende locatie een update vanaf kantoor met de details voor de volgende bestemming. Hierdoor hadden we een zorgeloze tijd en hebben we Ecuador echt mogen leren kennen en beleven! DAY 1: Welcome to Quito!
Today, your Ecuador & Galapagos Gastronomic Tour starts. After you arrive at Quito Airport, you will have a private transfer to your hotel in Quito. Depending on your arrival time, you will enjoy a welcome cocktail on the hotel rooftop. At night, enjoy a delicious dinner.

DAY 2: Quito Food Private Tour
Prepare to indulge your senses as you delve into the culinary wonders of Ecuador’s vibrant capital city. Begin your day at a charming coffee lab at the heart of the Mariscal area, before venturing into the captivating Historical Center. Explore a quintessential Quiteño food market, then stop at a local restaurant for a delectable empanada (stuffed pastry). Stroll the main square and visit one of the Old Town’s emblematic churches before delighting in a traditional lunch.
Top it off with traditional sweets: Pristiños (fried pastries with raw sugar syrup), Quesadillas (muffins crowned with frosting), and Helados de Paila (unique ice cream). This extraordinary exploration concludes at a classic fonda quiteña (small economical restaurant) with a traditional beverage. Return to your hotel with your heart and taste buds forever captivated by the flavors and traditions of Quito.

DAY 3: Cotopaxi Day Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up to go to Cotopaxi National Park. There are several activities that you can choose to do inside the National Park such as horseback riding, mountain biking or just hiking. You will enjoy a delicious and traditional picnic. In the afternoon, you will be dropped off at a local country house where you can see alpacas and enjoy the mountains.

DAY 4: Cotopaxi to Guamote
After breakfast, you will go to the Chimborazo province, on the way, you have the opportunity to visit towns like Lasso, try the famous “Salcedo Ice Cream”, visit local markets in Latacunga or Saquisili, where you can admire the local lifestyle, fruits, and vegetables, colors, and variety. You will arrive in Guamote, where you can enjoy a delicious “Pamba Mesa” (community food of ancestral origin) and the local activities at the lodge, like a visit to the community. Finish the day with a traditional dinner.

DAY 5: Guamote to Ingapirca
This morning, you will enjoy Inti Sisa Community, learning about the local activities they practice (farm, school projects, handmade articles, etc) and enjoying an Andean Cooking Class. After lunch, you will drive to the Ingapirca ruins. You will visit these in the afternoon, and at night, you have a local hacienda dinner with potato soup and pork.

DAY 6: Ingapirca and Cuenca Exploration
In the morning, you will visit the Ingapirca ruins, and then you will be transferred to Cuenca. You will visit the historical center of Cuenca, including the Turi viewpoint. You will visit the local market and have lunch at one of the famous restaurants in Cuenca. Cuenca has won as South America’s Leading City Break Destination of 2018, and in this tour, you will see why that is the case. It is an amazing city with a lot of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. At night, you will go to a wonderful rooftop bar where you will enjoy some cocktails.

DAY 7: Cuenca - Hacienda Danesa
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for the Ecuadorian Coast region. You will have a view of Cajas National Park and other beautiful panoramic views. You will arrive at Hacienda La Danesa, where you will enjoy a delicious local lunch and enjoy the afternoon with local activities like tubing, chocolate-making tours, or hacienda activities. Dinner will be waiting for you at night.

DAY 8: Visit to ¨Dos Hemisferios¨ - Guayaquil
Early in the morning, you will depart for the Progreso sector to visit “Dos Hemisferios”. You will have a tour of the vineyard, where you can learn how the impossible is made possible, sowing and harvesting grapes for high-quality wine. Following this, you will visit the plant where you will learn about the entire winemaking process. Once the tour is over, you will return to Gran Samán, where you will finally taste wines like Bruma Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay, Enigma, Travesía Cabernet Sauvignon, and Paradoja wines, along with a delicious three-course picnic lunch. Late transfer to Guayaquil.

DAY 9: Guayaquil Transfer Out
You will be brought to Guayaquil Airport by the hotel shuttle.

Important things to bring: warm and waterproof clothing, gloves, water, energy snacks, sunblock, sunglasses, and your passport.
Keep in mind that the weather at 13,000 ft (4,000 m) can change suddenly from sunny to cold with stormy winds and wet snow.
Since you will ride on steep mountain trails where oxygen is limited, it is our safety recommendation that the rider weighs 220 lbs (100 kg) or less.
Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
It is mandatory to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
Rebecca Adventure Travel and the respective cruise operator reserve the right to change the itinerary without prior notice due to weather conditions, availability, National Park regulations or notifications, and unforeseeable circumstances.
If you would like to enter the Cotopaxi National Park (for example, to visit Limpiopungo or the Cotopaxi Refugio, or to stop en route to take pictures), you are required to rent the services of a local guide. The cost is USD 40.
