I am a native quiteña who strives to uplift and showcase diversity in all its expressions through what comes naturally to me: the written word. The forest is my home, books are my temple, and storytelling is my passion. Travel writing allows me to combine my core interests and help travelers find their way as they plan the trip of a lifetime to the unique Andean region.

About Johanna

I have a degree in Communications with a concentration in Literature and have spent a decade writing, editing, and translating, in English and Spanish, for many different market segments. I entered the world of Digital Marketing in the tourism industry, where I have been a Web Content Writer for almost three years. I bask in writing about the great outdoors because my heart belongs in nature.

This work is about showing travelers the joys of visiting the Andean region through tours of Colombia, Perú, and my country, Ecuador. My writing on my homeland has mainly focused on giving travelers insight into the wonders of Ecuador’s rainforest, the charm of Quito’s Historic Center, and the sheer beauty of the Enchanted Isles. Now as a member of Rebecca’s soul-centered company. I can continue to share Ecuador’s gems with globetrotters looking for adventure in Galapagos and beyond.
