  • DAY 2 THURSDAY - AM: SOUTH PLAZA - PM: SANTA FE ISLAND

    AM: One of the smallest and, depending on the season, most colorful islands. Find sea lion colonies, land, hybrid iguanas, and countless birds soaring by the cliffs. It is an unpopulated island. These islands are interesting formations without a volcano resulting from an uplifting from underwater.
    PM: Santa Fe Island is one of the oldest in the Galapagos Islands archipelago. It is thought to be at least four million years old. The island is also sometimes known as Barrington Island and it was named after an admiral called Samuel Barrington.

  • DAY 3 FRIDAY - AM: INTERPRETATION CENTER - PM: LOBOS ISLAND

    AM: The Interpretation Center is an excellent place to learn about Natural History in the Galapagos and learn about San Cristobal History too. The Museum of Natural History displays information on the volcanic origins of the islands, their remoteness from the continent, ocean currents, climate, the arrival of the different species, and their colonization, among other points of interest.
    PM: Lobos Island is located approximately twenty minutes by boat from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. It is a long trail of 850m approximately one-half miles, that takes about one hour to walk. There is a small population of blue-footed boobies and common frigate birds that nest in this area. The two species of sea lions that live in the Galapagos can be observed on Lobos Islands.

  • DAY 4 MONDAY - AM: PUNTA PITT - PM: NATURAL GALAPAGUERA

    AM: Pitt Point (Punta Pitt) is located at the east end of San Cristobal Island. The trail includes an olivine beach of 295 ft (90 m) long and a path that climbs to the top of volcanic tuff, through several magnificent viewpoints. This is probably the only site where the three booby species of the Galapagos can be seen together, as well as two species of frigatebirds and a sea lion colony.
    PM: The lagoon is the only freshwater reservoir in Galapagos and has great views from its altitude of 700m in the highlands of San Cristóbal. Rainwater has been collected in the caldera for hundreds of years and formed this lagoon. Galapaguera is a good area to see tortoises in their natural environment

    AM: It’s located on the northern coast of San Cristobal. Cerro Brujo is an eroding tuff cone that at several locations is composed of AA lava formations. It is a beautiful white sand beach, with an impressive volcanic landscape. Great for snorkeling and sunbathing.
    PM: Kicker Rock is the favorite place for an array of marine birds, and a high chance to see different Galapagos sharks.

  • DAY 6 MONDAY - AM: SUAREZ POINT - PM: GARDENER BAY

    AM: Punta Suarez is one of only two visitor sites on pristine Española Island, and it's one of the most memorable walks in all of Galapagos. Punta Suarez features the chance to see the Waved Albatross, an extremely rare endemic species that only makes its home in Española. Located on Española Island.
    PM: Gardner Bay consists of an extensive beach of whitish coralline sand with several colonies of Galapagos sea lions. Here, we can also observe the endemic mockingbird of Española, usually in small groups defending their territories. Snorkeling is recommended, especially around the small semi-submerged tuff cone located in front of the beach.

  • DAY 7 TUESDAY - AM: CORMORANT POINT - PM: POST OFFICE BAY

    AM: Cormorant Point is on the northern tip of Floreana, and you'll land on a beach that sits between two volcanic cones. The sand on one of the beaches here has a noticeably olive-green color. This is due to a much higher than usual concentration of olivine crystals in the sand.
    PM: Champion Islet, named after the whaler Andrew Champion, is a small islet located just offshore Floreana Island in the southern part of the Archipelago. It’s considered one of the most beautiful places in Galapagos for snorkeling.

    PM: A 45-minute bus ride will take us to the Santa Cruz highlands, located to the northwest of Ayora Port, where we will find a natural reserve with giant land tortoises in their natural habitat. These enormous and slow-moving reptiles are responsible for the island’s name and therefore, approaching them in their humid and forested abode is always an inspiring adventure.

  • DAY 2 THURSDAY - AM: VILLAMIL PORT - PM: TINTORERAS, WETLANDS, BREEDING CENTER, SIERRA NEGRA

    AM: Located on the northeast of the island, the site has a long and beautiful white sand beach inhabited by sea lion colonies. Islote Garnder and Islote Osborn: These islets are snorkeling sites where visitors will see an abundance of tropical fish, reef sharks, and turtles.
    PM: Tintoreras is located south of Puerto Villamil. It has a small bay of completely calm turquoise waters, where you can appreciate sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, etc. Wetlands: This area is characterized by sandy beaches, rocky shores, and mangroves. By bus to Wall of tears a sad reminder of the history of Isabela. The wall was constructed between 1946 and 1959 while Isabela was a penal colony. As punishment, the prisoners were forced to build the wall from huge blocks of lava. The wall is named for the many convicts that died while building the wall.

    AM: Charles Darwin was amazed by the colonization of plants and the start of life over this terrain. He thought this process could easily compare to the origin of life on our planet.
    PM: This is one of the few sites visited for its human history. Visit the wooden mail barrel where letters are dropped off and picked up and remain of the Norwegian fishing village.

    PM: Tagus Cove, a protected cove between the shoulders of two volcanic craters which protect it from the open sea; you observe penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, and a variety of birds including flightless cormorants and blue-footed boobies.

    AM: Found in the South East of Santiago island, Sullivan Bay's main attraction is the solidified black lava formations - Pahoehoe lava flows(solidified lava in corrugated or accordion form) in a rather flat trail, with a length of approximately 1.5 km.
    PM: Bartholomew Island is located in the center of the archipelago. The diversity and richness of this island are related to the Upwelling Phenomenon, very cold water surrounds the shore, it is an unpopulated island.

    AM: Strolling along its coastline, the blinding white Bachas Beach appears full of natural life. It is one of the most important breeding sites for Pacific green turtles.
    PM: Assisted by the naturalist guide and some crew members, the dinghy will bring you and your luggage to Baltra, where we will take the airport shuttle. Your guide will accompany you to the check-in counters in the departure hall.
