DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO CUSCO – TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL
Your Cusco and Machu Picchu tour starts today. On arrival to Cusco, our representative will meet you at the airport to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free to relax and acclimatize.

DAY 2 CUSCO CITY TOUR – SHARED TOUR
Free morning. In the afternoon, your guide will meet with you at the hotel to start your city tour. You will visit the Cathedral, then continue to the Qoricancha temple, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay. You will visit the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman and Qenqo, as well.

DAY 3 SACRED VALLEY TOUR – SHARED TOUR
Leave most of your luggage in the Cusco hotel, and take small carry luggage for two nights. You will receive a box lunch which you need to carry in your backpack, as well. This morning, we will pick you up at 08:00 AM for your excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit Awanacancha, the colorful handicraft market of Pisac town, and its ruins located high up on the mountain overlooking the valley. After visiting this place, you will continue to Urubamba where you will enjoy lunch, and then, you will visit Ollantaytambo. The town has been built on top of original Inca foundations, and is the best surviving example of Inca town planning. At the end of our tour, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes.

DAY 4 MACHU PICCHU PRIVATE VISIT
After breakfast, you will take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu on time to catch the first rays of sunlight over the citadel. Your guide will slowly show you around the main areas, explaining the theories about the building techniques the Incas used, and recounting myths and legends passed down over the centuries. After the tour, you will have plenty of time to look around maybe do some of the other treks which are available in the surrounding mountains. After lunch (not included), it will be time to board the return train to Ollantaytambo station, and then transfer back to Cusco.

DAY 5 RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – SHARED TOUR
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel to go to Qollasuyo. First, you will pass through Cusipata where you will have about 30 minutes to have breakfast. Then, you will continue 1 more hour until Fulawasipata, where you will start today’s excursion. After a short chat, you will begin your walk at the foot of the Ausangate mountain range. You will ascent for approximately 2 hours to the highest point of the Rainbow Mountain. During this journey, you will have the chance to see South American camelids. Finally, you will descent to the starting point where the driver will be waiting to return to Cusipata to have lunch. After lunch, you will return to Cusco. The tour will end at Regocijo Square from where you will walk to your hotel on your own.

DAY 6 FAREWELL
This is the last day of your Cusco & Machu Picchu tour. You will have a transfer out to Cusco Airport.
Machupicchu: Round Trip bus tickets and entrance tickets to the sanctuary.
Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and back to Ollantaytambo.
