This 8-day Galápagos biking and kayaking tour combines cycling, kayaking, and snorkeling across three postcard islands: San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, and Isabela. Paddle through the sheltered waters of San Cristóbal, cycle from Cerro Mesa to Playa Garrapatero on Santa Cruz, and ride along Isabela’s flat wetlands road past the Wall of Tears and flamingo lagoons. You’ll also snorkel at Kicker Rock, Santa Fe, and Los Túneles, making this an active way to explore three islands beyond the usual island-hopping routes.

Your Galápagos biking and kayaking tour begins with your arrival at San Cristóbal Airport, where you’ll meet your English-speaking local contact and transfer by private vehicle to your hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
After settling in, spend the afternoon exploring La Lobería independently, a beach where sea lions often gather along the shore.

Today you will have a day tour to Kicker Rock, your first activity in the Galápagos Multisport adventure. Here you will be able to spot different shark species (sometimes even hammerheads!), turtles, rays, and more. In some seasons you might encounter jellyfish which can sting; however, a wetsuit will be provided when this is the case.
After snorkeling, you will continue to Manglecito or a similar beach. This white coral beach offers the opportunity to walk around, relax, and swim in shallow waters before returning to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. You will have a box lunch on board.
Note: It is also possible to dive at Kicker Rock (two immersions) if you have your PADI certificate ( $ 80), including equipment.

Start the day with a choice of kayaking or paddleboarding at Playa Mann, where you can explore the shoreline and look for wildlife. Return to your hotel afterward before heading to the pier for the public speedboat to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. The journey takes several hours, with arrival around 5:30 p.m.

Today’s excursion will take you to either Santa Fe or Pinzón, depending on Galápagos National Park regulations and conditions on the day.
If you visit Santa Fe, snorkel in the sheltered bay before making a wet landing at Playa Escondida or Garrapatero Beach on Santa Cruz. Alternatively, the Pinzón excursion combines snorkeling and wildlife viewing with “Pezca Vivencial,” or experiential fishing. Around La Fe, you may encounter marine iguanas, sea lions, sea turtles, small sharks, and colorful reef fish.
Note: Wet landings involve stepping from the boat into shallow water to reach the beach. Water shoes or sandals are recommended.

This morning, head into the Santa Cruz highlands with your English-speaking guide, stopping to look for giant tortoises before continuing to Cerro Mesa. From the crater, begin your bike ride downhill toward Playa Garrapatero, where you can swim and relax on the beach. Afterward, cycle back toward Puerto Ayora.

Take the 7 a.m. public speedboat to Isabela Island, where you’ll transfer to your hotel in Puerto Villamil. After receiving your bike and instructions, set out independently to explore the island’s wetlands, passing lagoons and other wildlife-rich areas. Later, paddle a kayak along the Puerto Villamil shoreline, looking for aquatic wildlife before returning to town.

Travel by boat for approximately 45 minutes to Los Túneles, where lava formations create a distinctive landscape of arches, channels, and shallow water. Explore the area with your bilingual guide and look for blue-footed boobies, sea lions, and other wildlife.
Continue to El Finado, about 10 minutes away, for snorkeling in calm, shallow water. The clear conditions offer opportunities to see seahorses, parrotfish, hogfish, wrasses, penguins, sea turtles, and other marine life. Return to Puerto Villamil in the early afternoon.

Your Galápagos adventure ends with an early 6 a.m. speedboat back to Puerto Ayora. From there, transfer through the Santa Cruz highlands to the Itabaca Channel, cross to Baltra Island, and continue by bus to the airport. This concludes your Galápagos biking and kayaking tour. Safe travels!
Note: Please book your departing flight from Baltra no earlier than 12 p.m.

A normal level of fitness. The longest ride is the Cerro Mesa descent, mostly downhill on graded roads. Kayaking excursions take place in sheltered water, and every activity has a shorter option.
Yes, along with helmets and buoyancy aids. Bikes are hybrids suited to graded roads rather than technical trails, and kayaks are stable sit-on-top doubles.
Only on marked roads. Isabela’s wetlands road and Santa Cruz’s Cerro Mesa route are the two best. National Park trails are walking-only throughout the archipelago.
Yes. Biking, kayaking and snorkelling all suit teenagers, and the pace keeps them occupied. Children under 12 receive a 10% discount.
June to November is cooler and better for riding and hiking. December to May brings warmer, calmer water, which suits the snorkelling days more.
