  • DAY 1: Baltra arrival and Santa Cruz

    Welcome to the Galápagos! Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, you’ll meet your guide and travel into the Santa Cruz Highlands, where giant tortoises roam freely across privately protected ranches. These remarkable reptiles, the largest tortoise species on Earth, can weigh up to 250 kg (550 lb).

    If your flight arrives before 2:00 PM, you’ll enjoy lunch in the highlands before continuing to your boutique hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle into the islands at a leisurely pace.

  • DAY 2: Uninhabited island day, Bartolomé or North Seymour

    Today you’ll board a small yacht for a full-day excursion to one of the Galápagos’ uninhabited islands. Depending on National Park regulations and availability, you’ll visit Bartolomé, North Seymour, South Plaza, or Santa Fe, each offering its own unique landscapes and wildlife. Lunch is served onboard as you cruise through the archipelago.

    Bartolomé is famous for Pinnacle Rock and its sweeping volcanic views, while North Seymour is home to magnificent frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies, and sea lions. South Plaza features dramatic cliffs, land iguanas, and colorful succulent vegetation, while Santa Fe is known for its protected turquoise bay, towering prickly pear cacti, and excellent snorkeling opportunities.

    This morning, visit Tortuga Bay, one of the Galápagos’ most celebrated beaches. A scenic walk from Puerto Ayora leads to a long stretch of powdery white sand bordered by turquoise water, where marine iguanas bask on the shore, and kayaks are available to rent.

    After enjoying the beach, you’ll board a short inter-island flight to Isabela, the largest island in the archipelago. Upon arrival, transfer to your boutique hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in Puerto Villamil.

    Late this morning, depart by boat for Los Túneles, one of the Galápagos’ premier snorkeling sites. Formed by ancient lava flows, this maze of arches, bridges, and crystal-clear channels provides an ideal habitat for an astonishing variety of marine life.

    Snorkel alongside sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, Galápagos penguins, sea lions, and colorful tropical fish while blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and other seabirds nest on the surrounding lava formations. After your excursion, return to Isabela for a relaxing evening.

    After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Isabela Airport for a scenic flight back to Baltra. The approximately 40-minute flight offers one last aerial view of the Galápagos before your journey comes to an end.

    Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, you’ll connect with your onward flight to mainland Ecuador.

  • Prices for the upcoming travel season are subject to change.

  • To enter Ecuador, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your intended departure from the country.

  • Maximize your time in the Galápagos by choosing early arrival and late departure flights. Late arrivals or early departures may cause you to miss some of the included tours.
  • Bring smaller baggage/bags since public transportation on the Galápagos Islands is quite limited.
  • ​​There are no guides on the public speedboat transportation between islands.
  • It is suggested to have current travel insurance, including personal medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
  • Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
  • Tap water in the Galápagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.
  • Rebecca Adventure Travel and the respective cruise operator reserve the right to change the itinerary without prior notice due to weather conditions,  availability, National Park regulations or notifications, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • When flying to the Galápagos from Quito or Guayaquil, we recommend arriving in the city at least 24 hours before your flight to avoid inconveniences.
