“I’m the Director of a small International School in Northern Chile, to teach the children of expats working in the copper mining industry. In February of this year, we took an Educational Field Trip to Quito, Ecuador. We were there for five full days, five full days of activities, and we hired Rebecca Adventure Travel for our itinerary. We went to Mindo, zip lining, butterfly farm, Mitad del Mundo, Cotopaxi, Hot Springs of Papallacta, had a half-day cooking class and did several other things, like local museums, Plaza de Armas, Museo de Guayasamin, etc. Rebecca Adventure Travel did an excellent job shuttling us around (there were 16 of us), providing for meals, and looking after us. I was especially appreciative of how they were able to make changes to our itinerary when we had to (for example for inclement weather one day, they changed our itinerary on-the-fly, changing our day from a trip to the mountains to a “Cultural Tour” of the city). They did all this the day before, in the evening, at our request.

If I had to find something to snip about, I would probably say that, at times, our guide’s English could be a little difficult to understand (his name was Pablo). And, at another time, our itinerary said we would visit a chocolate factory and “learn how chocolate is made from bean to bar,” when in reality we just sat down at the factory and had a glass of hot chocolate while our guide passed a cocoa bean around the table.

However, these are there smallest of peccadillos for a tour and a group of our size. We travel together as an international school every year, so I know some of the problems that can go wrong. And NONE of these went wrong with Rebecca Adventure Travel.

I would recommend Rebecca Adventure Travel wholeheartedly for your tours. And I would recommend Angelica Torres (who coordinated everything for us). Give Rebecca Adventure Travel a chance. There’s a reason they have so many good TripAdvisor reviews.”
