DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO CUSCO
Today, you will arrive at Cusco Airport. There are a couple of connecting flights from the Lima International Airport to get to Cusco. Upon your arrival, you will have a private transfer from the Cusco Airport to your hotel. After leaving your luggage, you will have a guided tour around Cusco’s Historical Center. Walk around the Main Square visit the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), and enter San Francisco Church. Also, enjoy a visit to the San Pedro local market, where you can see for yourself the charm of the people. Learn all the history of these places, and don’t miss the fascinating facts that the guide will tell you!
Optional tour
In the afternoon explore the historical center of Cusco. The tour starts with a short drive (10 minutes) to Sacsayhuaman, the massive Inca Fortress that overlooks the city. After that, back to the city, to walk around the tourist sites of Cusco. Walk around the Main Square, the Cathedral, and Koricancha. See all that Cusco City has to offer and explore this magic city!

DAY 2 CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
The Sacred Valley of the Incas was, undoubtedly, a key area of settlement for the Incas, and today you will have the chance to explore it. This visit includes Pisac Indian Market which attracts thousands of visitors and people from remote communities, dressed in colorful, traditional attire. In the afternoon, there will be a visit to the Ollantaytambo Ruins. After this, you will have lunch at Alhambra restaurant in the Sacred Valley. Then, you will begin your journey, by train, to Machu Picchu. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner, however, drinks will not be included in this meal.

DAY 3 MACHU PICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CUSCO
You will start the day by walking to the bus station to start your trip up to Machu Picchu. Here, you will have a shared transfer from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, and from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes. The Machu Picchu citadel consists of two main areas, one agricultural, formed mainly by mountains and food stores, and the other urban, which is noted for its sacred zone with its temples, squares, and royal tombs. Machu Picchu has been declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2007, Machu Picchu was chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. After exploring the citadel, you will go back to Aguas Calientes. Then, you will take an executive train down from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, and finally, a private transport from Ollantaytambo station to Cusco with the guide.
