DAY 1 BALTRA – FREE TIME SANTA CRUZ
Today, your Galapagos Diving tour starts. Upon arrival at Galapagos (Baltra Airport), our transportation will take you to Puerto Ayora. This afternoon you are free to visit the Charles Darwin Station. Here you can get plenty of information about the Galapagos Islands. Before dinner, our dive master will meet you in the Hotel to organize everything related to your next two days of diving.

DAY 2 DIVING
After breakfast, the dive guide will take you to one of the dive sites around Santa Cruz. The place you visit will depend on the day of the week you are visiting. You can check the schedule in the ‘Additional Information’ section. You will reach the dive sites by speedboat. Depending on the dive site, this ride will take you between 30 minutes and 2.5 hours. You will have two immersions here. The dive equipment is included. The maximum depth for this dive site is 30m.

DAY 3 DIVING
On the third day of your Galapagos Diving tour, you will have another dive day. You will go to one of the spots by speedboat. Where you go depends on the day of the week you are visiting, as specified before. You will have two immersions.

DAY 4 FREE TIME SANTA CRUZ – ISABELA
This day will offer some free time in the morning where it is recommended to spend time in Tortuga Bay. This luxurious white sand beach is a great place to see marine iguanas and have the opportunity to go kayaking along the coast. Many travelers spot Tintoreras sharks while exploring here. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will take a speedboat to Isabela (about 2,5 hours), where you will spend the night relaxing.

DAY 5 SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO – CONCHA PERLA SNORKELING
After breakfast, you go to Sierra Negra volcano for a hiking excursion of about 4 hours. This volcano is the second-largest volcanic crater in the world, measuring 6 miles in diameter and 300 feet deep. After lunch at the volcano (you will get a lunchbox) you go back to the hotel and in the afternoon you can go snorkeling or swimming at Concha Perla, where there are beautiful colorful fish, sea urchins, starfish, sea lions, or even sea turtles.
On this day, you can also take a snorkeling tour to Los Túneles instead of hiking to Sierra Negra and snorkeling at Concha Perla. This will have an extra cost of $ 105 p.p.

DAY 6 TRANSFER OUT – BALTRA
This is the last day of your Galapagos Diving Tour. After breakfast, you will travel to Baltra Airport with a Spanish-speaking driver, where you will depart to Quito or Guayaquil.

FLOREANA
Floreana is located in the South part of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dive sites are located 90 minutes from Puerto Ayora.
Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all level divers. You will do 2 dives, swim along the current, easy dive, although can be strong currents.
What to see? Cleaning station for Green Sea Turtle, White tip Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Golden Rays, Sting Rays, and Galapagos Sea lions.

SANTA FE
Santa Fe is located in the Southeast part of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dive sites are located 40 minutes from Puerto Ayora.
Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all-level divers because the water is very calm. You will do 2 dives.
What to see? White tip Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Golden Rays, Sting Rays, Galapagos Sea lions, Green Sea Turtles, Cat Sharks and Reef Fish.

NORTH SEYMOUR
North Seymour is situated in the north part of Santa Cruz Island, there are 2 dives sites located 30 minutes from the Itabaca Channel.
Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all level divers. You will do 2 dives, swim along the current, easy dive, although can be strong currents. This is the perfect place to start your diving adventure in the Galapagos Marine Reserve.
What to see? Here you can see a lot of wildlife like Hammerhead Sharks, White-tip Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Black Tip Sharks, Green Sea Turtles, Oceanic Manta Ray, Spotted Eagle Ray, Golden Rays, Mobulas rays, Galapagos garden Eels, tropical fish, etc.
MOSQUERA ISLET
Mosquera is situated in the north part of Baltra Islands, 30 minutes from the Itabaca Canal.
Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all level divers, easy dive, no strong currents, diving is in a shelving reef with many white tip reef Sharks.
What to see? Green Sea Turtle, White-tip Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Golden Rays, Sting Rays, Galapagos Sea lions, and variety of invertebrates and mollusks.

GORDON ROCKS
Gordon Rocks is considered the best place for diving in the central islands, situated on the east coast of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dives sites located 50 minutes from Itabaca Channel.
Site Conditions: due to the strong currents and surge, this dive site is considered for intermediate or advanced divers with at least 25 logged dives (or had dived before with us in other dive sites).
What to see? Gordon Rocks is a world renowned site, where you can see big schools of Hammerhead Sharks, Black-tip Sharks, White-tip reef Sharks, Green Sea Turtle, Schools of Barracudas, Schools of Spotted Eagle Rays, Mobulas Rays, reef fish, etc.

BEAGLE
Beagle is situated in the Northwest part of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dives spots located 50 minutes from the Itabaca Canal.
Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all level divers. It is an easy dive, no strong currents, diving is in a shelving reef with many white-tip reef Sharks.
What to see? Green Sea Turtle, White tip Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Golden Rays, Sting Rays, Galapagos Sea lions, and variety of invertebrates and mollusks.
DAPHNE ISLET
Daphne is situated in the North part of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dives spots located 30 minutes from the Itabaca Canal.
Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all level divers. It is an easy dive, no strong currents, diving is in a shelving reef with many white-tip reef Sharks.

NORTH SEYMOUR

Site Conditions: This dive site is considered for all level divers. You will do 2 dives, swim along the current, easy dive, although can be strong currents. This is the perfect place to start your diving adventure in the Galapagos Marine Reserve.

Gordon Rocks is considered the best place for diving in the central islands, situated on the east coast of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dives sites located 50 minutes from Itabaca Channel.
Site Conditions: due to the strong currents and surge, this dive site is considered for intermediate or advanced divers with at least 20 logged dives (or had dived before with us in other dive sites).
What to see? Gordon Rocks is a world renowned site, where you can see big schools of Hammerhead Sharks, Black-tip Sharks, White-tip reef Sharks, Green Sea Turtle, Schools of Barracudas, Schools of Spotted Eagle Rays, Mobulas Rays, reef fish, etc.
Please note that the Galapagos is a National Park and schedules can change all the time due to permissions.

- It is recommended to have DAN Diving insurance.
- To participate in this Galapagos Diving tour, you need to have a valid PADI certificate. If you are interested in a diving course, please take a look at the 6-day PADI Diving Course.
- There are different diving areas in the Galapagos where you can go. However, since the Galapagos Islands are very protective, it is not possible to go to the diving spots every day. Below, you can find the general schedule for each diving site in Galapagos.
- Please note that the activity sequence depends on your flight schedule and the availabilities of the different tours and transportation. The sequence of your complete tour might change but you won’t miss any tours if you have an afternoon flight back to Ecuador on the last day.
- It is recommended to book flights with an early arrival time to the Galapagos Islands and a late departure time from the Galapagos Islands to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the tour. Late arrivals and/or early departures mean you might miss some activities.
- Try to only bring small baggage/bags since public transportation on the Galapagos Islands is quite small.
- There are no guides on the transportation by public speedboat between islands.
- It is suggested to have valid travel and medical insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage. Please inform the team of any known medical conditions you have.
- Essential items to bring include comfortable and lightweight clothing (with a jacket as a precaution), water, sunblock, sunglasses, and your passport.
- Pictures may be taken during your tour, so it is recommended to bring a USB.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
- Tap water on the Galapagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.
- Rebecca Adventure Travel and the respective cruise operator reserve the right to change the itinerary without prior notice due to weather conditions, availability, National Park regulations or notifications, and unforeseeable circumstances.
- When flying to Galapagos from Quito or Guayaquil, we recommend arriving in the city at least 24 hours before your flight, to avoid inconveniences in case of flight delays.
