DAY 1 Arrival to Baltra - Santa Cruz - Isabela Island
Today is the first day of your Galapagos Multisport tour.
It is important to book an early flight arrival to Baltra Airport to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the program as they are described.
At Baltra Airport, an English-speaking guide will pick you up to go to Puerto Ayora to enjoy your lunch. After lunch, you will take the speedboat to Isabela Island. This is a 2-hour ride on a speedboat, so please be prepared with a light waterproof jacket and motion sickness medication, if necessary. Upon arrival on Isabela Island, a driver will take you to your hotel.
Option 2: Itinerary for flights arriving at Baltra after 12:00 PM
If your flight arrives after 12:00 PM, you will stay on Santa Cruz Island on the first day, as the last speedboat to Isabela Island leaves around 03:00 PM. Note that no lunch is provided if you arrive after 03:00 PM. We’ll adjust the itinerary as needed, so feel free to reach out to us for any changes.- Activity:Wildlife Observation.

DAY 2 Sierra Negra Trek - Concha y Perla Snorkel
In the morning you will begin a journey to the Sierra Negra Volcano, boasting the world’s second-largest crater, 13 miles from Puerto Villamil. A 45-minute bus ride precedes a rewarding hike, with a box lunch awaiting at the volcano. Following the trek, enjoy a brief hotel rest before exploring Concha Perla. Enjoy a refreshing snorkel or swim, marveling at vibrant fish, sea lions, and perhaps even a passing sea turtle.

DAY 3 BREEDING CENTER – WALL OF TEARS – ISLET TINTORERAS
Following breakfast, hotel pickup precedes a bike ride to explore the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center and the historic Wall of Tears, built by prisoners from 1946 to 1959 during Isabela’s penal colony era. Return for lunch before an afternoon sail to Tintoreras Islet, named after the white-tip sharks known as Tintoreras. Encounter penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas, and engage in shark snorkeling amidst a vibrant array of fish.

DAY 4 KAYAK IN PUERTO VILLAMIL – ISABELA ISLAND HIGHLANDS
Today, you will head to the bay of Puerto Villamil together with your guide. Here, you will go kayaking and visit the coastal zone. You will have the opportunity to observe and photograph marine iguanas, sea lions, penguins, and more. Then, after a short break, you will return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you will get on your bike again, and go to the top of Isabela Island to visit Cave Sucre, the Mango viewpoint, and Campo Duro. Here, you can see and approach the giant tortoises in their natural habitat.

DAY 5 TRANSFER OUT – BALTRA
Today, your Galapagos Multisport adventure comes to an end. Early in the morning, you will travel to Santa Cruz Island on the public speedboat leaving Isabela Island at 6:00 in the morning. You will receive a breakfast-to-go before you leave. Upon arrival in Puerto Ayora, your Spanish-speaking driver will provide transportation to the Itabacca Channel and assist you back to Baltra Island to the airport.

- Prices for 2025 are subject to change.
- For children under the age of 12, there is a 10% discount.
- Please note that the activity sequence depends on your flight schedule and the availabilities of the different tours and transportation. The sequence of your complete tour might change but you won’t miss any tours if you have an afternoon flight back to Ecuador on the last day.
- It is recommended to book flights with an early arrival time to the Galapagos Islands and a late departure time from the Galapagos Islands to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the tour. Late arrivals and/or early departures mean you might miss some activities.
- Try to only bring small baggage/bags since public transportation on the Galapagos Islands is quite small.
- There are no guides on the transportation by public speedboat between islands.
- It is suggested to have valid travel and medical insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage. Please inform the team of any known medical conditions you have.
- Essential items to bring include comfortable and lightweight clothing (with a jacket as a precaution), water, sunblock, sunglasses, and your passport.
- Pictures may be taken during your tour, so it is recommended to bring a USB.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
- Tap water on the Galapagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.

- When flying to Galapagos from Quito or Guayaquil, we recommend arriving in the city at least 24 hours before your flight, to avoid inconveniences in case of flight delays.
