  • DAY 1 DAY 1 - BALTRA ISLAND - HIGHLANDS (SANTA CRUZ ISLAND)
Rebecca Adventure Travel Santa Cruz - Colombia Galapagos

After landing at Baltra Airport, we drive to the Itabaca Channel to take a ferry across to Santa Cruz Island. After lunch, we drive to a nearby reserve that is one of the best places in the archipelago to see giant tortoises in their natural habitat. The tortoises are easy to spot, lumbering around, munching on grass and leaves, and wallowing in small pools.

The tiny island of Sombrero Chino gets its name from its appearance, reminiscent of a Chinese hat. This islet, formed only fairly recently, makes a beautiful visit as one explores the wildlife along its 400-meter long trail, which begins at a crescent-shaped white sandy beach.

Galapagos Adventure

We went with Rebecca Adventure Travel to the Galapagos and experienced some of the best snorkeling of our lives! Of the tour operators we talked to, Rebecca Adventure Travel was by far the most responsive and provided a lot of small but important touches to our day tour.

Land-based tour of the…

We got a lot of help to customize it to our interests. Overall the experience was very good. They arranged day tours at each destination and all transfers. We had great tour guides, they were timely, the boats were great, and they fed us well. The snorkeling guides were very professional.
