DIVING ITINERARY (8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS)

DAY 1 BALTRA AIRPORT (MONDAY)
Guests fly to the Galapagos Islands from mainland Ecuador, arriving in the late morning. The dive guides will meet the guests at the airport and escort them to the Humboldt Explorer. Guests will board the vessel after 1:00 p.m., have lunch, organize the equipment, and listen to the safety briefings.
- Activity:Arrival. Walking. Diving.
- Meal:Lunch. Dinner.
- Accommodation:Double or single cabins.
DAY 2 NORTH SEYMOUR (TUESDAY)
First, equipment check; then, 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. dives. Sightings include rays and schools of fish. Afternoon visit to North Seymour: walk the path to see the large colonies of blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds. Sightings of sea lions and marine iguanas are also common. Next, depart for the Northern Islands (16+ hour transit).

DAY 3 WOLF ISLAND (WEDNESDAY)
Set dives today happen at 6:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Possible night dive. Sightings often include hammerhead, whale, Galapagos, and silky sharks; along with eagle rays, and sea lions. Night anchor at Wolf Island.
- Activity:Diving.
- Meal:Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.
- Accommodation:Double or single cabins.
DAY 4 WOLF ISLAND - DARWIN ISLAND (THURSDAY)
We’ll do two dives on Wolf Island at 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. before moving on to Darwin Island for two more dives, at 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sightings often include hammerheads, Galapagos, and silky sharks; as well as red-lipped batfish, eagle rays, sea lions.
- Activity:Diving.
- Meal:Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.
- Accommodation:Double or single cabins.
DAY 5 DARWIN ISLAND (FRIDAY)
Today’s four dives happen at 6:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Sightings often include hammerheads, whale (in season), Galapagos, and silky sharks; and eagle rays. Transit to Wolf Island.
- Activity:Diving.
- Meal:Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

DAY 6 WOLF ISLAND (SATURDAY)
Today we do three dives, at 6:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. Sightings often include hammerheads, whale (in season), Galapagos, and silky sharks; and eagle rays. Long transit to Cousin’s Rock (20+ hours).

- Meal:Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.
- Accommodation:Double or single cabins.
DAY 7 COUSIN'S ROCK - SANTA CRUZ HIGHLANDS (TUESDAY)
The number of dives today is dependent on travel time from Wolf Island. We will dive at 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. This is a great macro diving with an excellent chance of seeing sea horses, sea lions, and eagle rays. Lunch will be served en route to Santa Cruz (3 hours), where a bus ride to the highlands takes you to see Galapagos giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Visit the town of Puerto Ayora and the Darwin Centre on your own. Dinner on your own in Puerto Ayora. Return to the Humboldt Explorer at 8:30 p.m.

DAY 8 BALTRA AIRPORT (SATURDAY)
AM/PM: After a week of unforgettable experiences, it is time to bid farewell to this enchanting land. As you’re transferred to Baltra Airport, take the magic of the Galapagos Islands with you to seal memories to last for a lifetime.
