DAY 1 FRIDAY - COCA - NAPO RIVER
Your adventure begins in the city of Coca. You will be transferred to the local pier to board a motorized canoe. You will travel on the Napo River until you reach the Manatee Amazon First Class cruise and the private landing. The crew will greet you with a warm welcome and present you to the naturalist guides. Your guide will also give you a welcome briefing with an informative introduction to the Ecuadorian Amazon. After dinner and exploring the cruise, you will take a night walk into the Amazon forest to listen and observe the nocturnal wildlife.

DAY 2 SATURDAY - PAÑACOCHA - PIRANHA LAGOON
You will start the day by traveling downstream to the Pañayacu River delta. Here you will embark on a canoe trip to the Pañacocha Lagoon. This is an ecosystem flooded by blackwater river water. The surrounding protected rainforest is home to many primates, birds, caimans, and aquatic animals such as the Paiche Amazon fish, and even piranhas. During the walk with your guide, you will be able to observe some of these species. Afterward, you will have a chance to recharge with an Amazon-style barbeque at a local community. After this short rest, you can kayak and swim, or simply relax and take in the surroundings before returning to the cruise.

DAY 3 SUNDAY - PARROT CLAY LICKS AND AMAZON COMMUNITIES
Early in the morning, you will go out exploring by canoe to witness one of the most incredible sights in the western Amazon basin, the famous parrot clay licks! This spot is rich in minerals and attracts hundreds of parrots, parakeets, and other Amazon bird species. They meet here to lick the clay which aids in their digestion. If you are a bird watcher or an avid wildlife lover, you will love this experience. In the afternoon, you will visit the Kichwa community and learn about their indigenous lifestyle along the Napo River and their ancestral culture. This is a great opportunity to purchase local products that are handcrafted.

DAY 1 MONDAY - COCA - NAPO RIVER
Your adventure begins in the city of Coca you will be transferred to the dock, and after a 90-minute journey in a motorized canoe, you will reach the Manatee Amazon First Class Cruise. The crew will give you a warm welcome and present you with the naturalist guides who will give you a brief informative introduction to the Ecuadorian Amazon. After dinner and exploring the cruise, you will take a night walk in the forest to hear and observe the beautiful nocturnal wildlife.

DAY 2 TUESDAY - SECOYA COMMUNITY
In the morning you will navigate across the lower part of the Napo River where you can spot different bird species like eagles, oropendolas, and woodpeckers. In the afternoon you will enter Yasuni National Park one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Participate in the pink dolphin conservation program with the community in the Cocaya area. Finally, learn to prepare traditional cassava bread during your visit.

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY - KICHWA FAMILY
Meet an authentic Kichwa Family in the morning on the banks of the Napo River and learn about their lifestyle in the community. Then on board, you will participate in a cooking class, and the expert chef will teach you how to prepare exquisite traditional Ecuadorian fare. All guests have the opportunity to create handicrafts or have the opportunity to explore nature in the area by kayak.

DAY 4 THURSDAY - FOREST ADVENTURE
Start the day visiting an observation tower built in a giant millenary kapok tree, where you can have an amazing 360º view of all the treetops of the forest and contemplate the sheer vastness of the Amazon. In the afternoon, you will explore the primary forest and spot the different plants and wildlife endemic species in this ecosystem. You can also find the strange and unique bird known as the hoatzin, or as it’s known locally the “stinkbird”.
