Beautiful, Safe, Ecuador! Get your cameras ready!!
Rebecca Adventure Travel worked with us to customize a 15 day, self-driven tour from the top of the country to the bottom of the country within the Ecuadorian Andes mountains. It’s was a fast paced trip but so worth being able to see the center of the country as well as some of own adventures. We planned the trip well in advance and selected each destination with purpose. Rebecca Adventure Travel did the rest. Fine hotels, excellent guides, car rental, attractions, some meals, and they provided FULL TIME guidance throughout the trip. We are well pleased with the team, communication was excellent and the hotels were beyond our expectations. We will use Rebecca Adventure Travel again and highly recommend their services. A trip to remember!
We booked the 23-Day Complete Ecuador & Galapagos tour through Juan in the Rebecca office. From the start there was clear communication and a helpful attitude, nothing was a problem. This continued throughout the whole trip. The guides were awesome and Carlos and the Operations team were always on call to help us if we needed it. This was a fantastic tour which covered all the main attractions including a week in the Galapagos islands which was amazing. I highly recommend Rebecca Adventure Travel!

Zorgeloos reizen in Ecuador!
Met Rebbeca’s Adventure traveling een individuele reis geboekt. 26 dagen Ecuador en de Galapagos eilanden en o.a. Quito, Mindo, Amazone, heetwaterbronnen, Cuenca, Baños en nog veel meer. Wat een fantastische reis hadden we. Eerst met ons gezin en halverwege sloten onze vrienden vanuit Aruba aan. Alles was perfect geregeld. Eigen busje met vaste gids en chauffeur. Bij iedere volgende locatie een update vanaf kantoor met de details voor de volgende bestemming. Hierdoor hadden we een zorgeloze tijd en hebben we Ecuador echt mogen leren kennen en beleven!   • DAY 1: Sunday - Coca - Napo River

    Rebecca Adventure Travel Arrival Anakonda Amazon Cruise

    Your adventure begins in the city of Coca. You will be transferred to the local pier to board a motorized canoe. You will travel on the Napo River until you reach the Anakonda Amazon Luxury cruise and the private landing. The crew will greet you with a warm welcome and present you to the naturalist guides. Your guide will also give you a welcome briefing with an informative introduction to the Ecuadorian Amazon. After dinner and exploring the cruise, you will take a night walk into the Amazon forest to listen to and observe the nocturnal wildlife.

  • DAY 2: Monday - Pañacocha - Piranha Lagoon

    You will start the day by traveling downstream to the Pañayacu River delta. Here you will embark on a canoe trip to the Pañacocha Lagoon. This is an ecosystem flooded by blackwater river water. The surrounding protected rainforest is home to many primates, birds, caimans, and aquatic animals such as the Paiche Amazon fish, and even piranhas. During the walk with your guide, you will be able to observe some of these species. Afterward, you will have a chance to recharge with an Amazon-style barbeque at a local community. After this short rest, you can kayak and swim, or simply relax and take in the surroundings before returning to the cruise.

    Early in the morning, you will go out exploring by canoe to witness one of the most incredible sights in the western Amazon basin, the famous parrot clay licks! This spot is rich in minerals and attracts hundreds of parrots, parakeets, and other Amazon bird species. They meet here to lick the clay, which aids in their digestion. If you are a bird watcher or an avid wildlife lover, you will love this experience. In the afternoon, you will visit the Kichwa community and learn about their indigenous lifestyle along the Napo River and their ancestral culture. This is a great opportunity to purchase local products that are handcrafted.

The crew will give you a warm welcome and present you with the naturalist guides who will give you a brief informative introduction to the Ecuadorian Amazon. After dinner and exploring the cruise, you will take a night walk in the forest to hear and observe the beautiful nocturnal wildlife.

  • DAY 2: Thursday - Secoya Community

    In the morning you will navigate across the lower part of the Napo River where you can spot different bird species like eagles, oropendolas, and woodpeckers. In the afternoon you will enter Yasuni National Park one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Participate in the pink dolphin conservation program with the community in the Cocaya area. Finally, learn to prepare traditional cassava bread during your visit.

    Meet an authentic Kichwa Family in the morning on the banks of the Napo River and learn about their lifestyle in the community. Then on board, you will participate in a cooking class, and the expert chef will teach you how to prepare exquisite traditional Ecuadorian fare. All guests have the opportunity to create handicrafts or have the opportunity to explore nature in the area by kayak.

  • DAY 4 : Saturday - Forest Adventure

    Start the day visiting an observation tower built in a giant millenary kapok tree, where you can have an amazing 360º view of all the treetops of the forest and contemplate the sheer vastness of the Amazon. In the afternoon, you will explore the primary forest and spot the different plants and wildlife endemic species in this ecosystem. You can also find the strange and unique bird known as the hoatzin, or as it’s known, the ” stinkbird locally”.

Additional information

  • To enter Ecuador, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your intended departure from the country.
  • Prices are subject to seasonal surcharges during Christmas, New Year’s, and Semana Santa.
  • Rebecca Adventure Travel and the respective cruise operator reserve the right to change the itinerary without previous notice due to weather conditions,  availabilities, National Park regulations or notifications, and unforeseeable circumstances.
  • All cruises are subject to availability. Cruises have fixed departures, so before booking the cruise and flight tickets, please check the dates and itineraries with us. Since Amazon is a destination in high demand, the availability changes every day. Rebecca Adventure Travel will try to fix your dates with the options we have available during the time of booking.
  • Single occupancy rate: Adult rate + 50%.
  • Children under 12 years old will receive a 50% discount (one child per suite).
  • Third guest 45% discount (adult rate) in a triple suite with an additional sliding bed.
  • Maximum 3 guests per suite.
  • Minimum recommended age: 7 years.
  • Maximum availability for Triple Suites: 4 triple suites (1 queen bed and 1 additional sliding bed).
  • It is suggested to have current travel insurance, including personal medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
  • Flight tickets are $240 p.p. For children under the age of 12, flight tickets are $144 p.p.
  • Please take with you some plastic bags to protect your camera and important documents, passports, and ID from the rain.
  • Some activities in the Amazon depend on weather conditions, such as caiman searching.
  • If you like to enjoy watching animals, please get some binoculars (10×40 are much better).
