DAY 1 AIRPORT QUITO
Today is your first day of your Ecuador & Galapagos tour. You will have a pick-up at the airport and a drop-off at a Boutique hotel in Quito.

DAY 2 QUITO
Today you will go on a city tour with one of our English guides. You will visit Quito’s Old Town with its beautiful churches, the Pululahua Crater the Equator, and the museum.

DAY 3 OTAVALO – HACIENDA ZULETA
After breakfast, you will go to Otavalo, the city in the north where a lot of Indigenous people sell their beautiful handicrafts. After lunch at La Mirage you will visit Cotacachi where you can buy amazing leather products. You will stay in the famous Hacienda Zuleta. Here you have a chance to visit the condors, ride horses, visit the local community, go mountain biking, or just enjoy a good wine and homemade cheese.

DAY 4 HACIENDA ZULETA
Today you can do optional activities around the hacienda or just relax.

DAY 5 COTOPAXI – HACIENDA PORVENIR
In the morning you will head in the southern direction again until you reach the Cotopaxi National Park. Here will have an optional horseback ride, hike or you can go mountain biking.

DAY 6 QUILOTOA LAGOON – GUAMOTE
After breakfast, you will visit the Quilotoa lagoon, a big turquoise crater lake. You can walk down to the lake. For the way up you can walk as well or hire a mule. After a basic local lunch, you will drive to Guamote, a little town full of indigenous people. Every Thursday you have a big local market in all the streets in the city center.

DAY 7 NARIZ DEL DIABLO – INGAPIRCA – CUENCA
Early in the morning, you will be picked up and you go to Alausi where the hike to the Devil’s Nose starts. The trail offers incredible views of the river valley and a bird’s eye view of the inoperative tracks. After this, you drive to Ingapirca where you will visit the Inca Ruins of Ingapirca. Around 7:00 PM you will arrive in Cuenca where you will stay in a beautiful Boutique Hotel.

DAY 8 CUENCA HISTORICAL CENTER
Today you have a half-day city tour in the historical town of Cuenca. The rest of the day is off to explore yourself, you can go to one of the spas, go shopping, or enjoy the delicious restaurants.

DAY 9 CUENCA – CAJAS – GUAYAQUIL
After breakfast, you go to the National Park of Cajas to do a short hike. From here you will drive down to Guayaquil.

DAY 10 GALAPAGOS CRUISE
On day 10 of your Ecuador & Galapagos tour, you will have a flight to the Galapagos Islands. You will embark on a luxury class boat for 6 days and depending on the itinerary you will see a lot of wildlife.

- For children under the age of 12, there is a 10% discount.
- Please note that the activity sequence depends on your flight schedule and the availabilities of the different tours and transportation. The sequence of your complete tour might change but you won’t miss any tours if you have an afternoon flight back to Ecuador on the last day.
- It is recommended to book flights with an early arrival time to the Galapagos Islands and a late departure time from the Galapagos Islands to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the tour. Late arrivals and/or early departures mean you might miss some activities.
- Try to only bring small baggage/bags since public transportation on the Galapagos Islands is quite small.
- There are no guides on the transportation by public speedboat between islands.
- It is suggested to have valid travel and medical insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage. Please inform the team of any known medical conditions you have.
- Essential items to bring include comfortable and lightweight clothing (with a jacket as a precaution), water, sunblock, sunglasses, and your passport.
- Pictures may be taken during your tour, so it is recommended to bring a USB.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
- Tap water on the Galapagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.
- Rebecca Adventure Travel and the respective cruise operator reserve the right to change the itinerary without prior notice due to weather conditions, availability, National Park regulations or notifications, and unforeseeable circumstances.
- When flying to Galapagos from Quito or Guayaquil, we recommend arriving in the city at least 24 hours before your flight, to avoid inconveniences in case of flight delays. Cruise departures have fixed schedules and extra fees may occur for reaching the cruise on another day.
- All cruises are subject to availability. Since cruises have fixed departures, please check dates and itineraries with the team before booking the cruise and flight tickets. Because the Galapagos is a high-demand destination, availability changes every day. Rebecca Adventure Travel will try to fix your dates with the options available at the time of booking.
- Keep in mind that some cruises require you to arrange the flight tickets directly with them, otherwise, they will charge an extra fee. Please check with the team and they will share the complete information before proceeding with your flight ticket arrangement.
