Today, your Colombia Highlights tour starts. You will be picked up at the Bogota Airport, and then, you will be transferred to your hotel in La Candelaria district.

After breakfast, you will have a private city tour in Bogota during which you will explore the narrow streets of the historical center of Bogota, known as La Candelaria. You will also visit the Museum of Gold (closed on Mondays) and the Museum of Botero (closed on Tuesdays). Additionally, you will go up to the hill of Monserrate by a cable car or a funicular. You will be accompanied by a local English-speaking guide during the whole tour.

Today, you will have a transfer to Bogota Airport, so you can take your flight to Salento.
You will explore the colonial town of Salento with your guide and discover the Art of Brilliant Chocolate and experience it at our chocolate factory.

Today, you will have a private day trip to Salento, a colorful town that has maintained the typical architecture of the area, and Valle de Cocora, where the famous wax palms grow. Wax palms are considered the national tree of Colombia, and can reach up to 60 meters in height. You can take incredible hikes in the Cocora Valley.
In the afternoon, you will be served a delicious lunch, and you can enjoy traditional games like “Tejo” or “Sapo” – accompanied by a “Colombian Pola” (beer).

Today, you will receive an interactive coffee tour in Hacienda San Alberto. Here, you will see how Colombian coffee is grown, and which processes it goes through before it becomes a drink, and you will learn the secrets about its quality. You will also pass by the lovely, typical village of Buenavista. The activities of this day will take around 3 hours in total. The rest of the day will be free for you to relax.

Optionally, you can get a horse service for the luggage and the people for around 6 USD.
