Hello! I’m Charli, the Marketing Manager for Rebecca Adventure Travel. I was born and raised in England and from a young age experienced the thrill of travel and adventure and immediately fell in love with it. I have traveled to many countries and I thrive on discovering new places and cultures, learning different traditions, and being surrounded by stunning landscapes and nature.
In 2016 I took the jump to leave my home country and unexpectedly ended up in the dream destination of the Galapagos Islands! I’ve called it home ever since. I adore living so close to nature, watching finches from my desk window, seeing marine iguanas laze on the sidewalks, the sea lions taking over the benches around town and turtles popping their heads up from the water. I’m also a scuba diver and underwater is where I am most at peace. I care deeply about conservation and sustainability and living in a place with such a unique and delicate ecosystem, I get involved where I can. I regularly volunteer with the Galapagos National Park on their coral restoration project and help with other local community and conservation projects here in Santa Cruz.
After a 15-year career in Sales, I moved over to marketing in 2017, specializing in strategic social media for adventure and eco-tourism companies, allowing me to focus on things I love. Marketing is about telling stories that resonate, and I love bringing the thrill of adventure and the beauty of nature to life. As Marketing Manager, I lead Rebecca Adventure Travel’s efforts in building strategic campaigns, from social media to broader marketing initiatives, that connect with travelers worldwide. My focus is on creating engaging content that inspires and promotes sustainable, responsible travel.
